Challenges have been popular on social networks for some time now, and the latest trend among celebrities was #10yearschallenge. Famous actors, musicians and television personalities uploaded their photos under the hashtag “then and now”.
Mostly younger celebrities used a ten-year gap, but there was some 20 years comparisons or more.
Among the selected were some of the most famous people, such as Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, and others.
Most of the photos circulating on social media, of course, show the stars in their best editions, but some differences can be seen, although, if we are to be completely honest – minimal. We don’t know if it’s good genetics or a right plastic surgeon, but for some, it’s as if time has stopped.
It seems to us that Jennifer Lopez is holding on fantastically for her age and – although she may (most likely) have made some corrections on her face, it was done so subtly and imperceptibly, that she looks like she’s 25. Nothing looks fake or pumped on JLo, which is actually the real purpose of aesthetic corrections.
The situation is similar with Jennifer Aniston, who has also not changed drastically, and it does not seem that she has aged, at least not if judging by the picture from 25 years ago.
Curiosity is the image of Oscar winner Meryl Streep, who didn’t undergo any radical cosmetic treatments and who looks great, and more importantly – with dignity and beauty wears all her “flaws” and age. Streep always stated that she would never operate on her nose even though she had problems getting roles because of it at the beginning of her career.
For some others, again, the situation is a little different. For example, a picture of Kylie Jenner from 10 years ago and today is like looking at two different people. Unrecognizable!
This “then and now” challenge showed us that, at the same time, you could have the best plastic surgeon in the world, if nature did not favor you, it is in vain.
This challenge also shows that time can make women more beautiful, attractive and sexy if they know how to carry their age well.
