Veteran adult movie star Ron Jeremy is under investigation for a new allegation of sexual assault in Los Angeles. The Daily Beast reported that authorities confirmed they are investigating the case, but no further details were revealed.
“Sexual assault allegations against Ron Jeremy are under review by our office. No filing decision has been made”, Greg Risling, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s public information officer, told TheWrap.com.
The 67-year-old actor has been fighting with allegations of sexual assaults for years, and its peak was at the rise of the #MeToo movement in 2017. At the time, Rolling Stone revealed a series of accusations about inappropriate behavior and unwanted advances.
He denied everything, naming the accusations “pure lies or buyer’s remorse”, but in 2018 he was in the center of an alleged groping incident in the bathroom of Rainbow Bar and Grill in West Hollywood.
