Clueless star Stacey Dash took to Instagram on April 30, 2024 to share that she and her husband of two years, attorney Jeffrey Marty, have decided to part ways. “My husband and I made the difficult decision to end our marriage,” Dash wrote. “After much prayer, I feel that this is the right path for both of us. I wish you nothing but the best. Thank you all for your support and respect for our privacy during this difficult time.”
Marty has not publicly addressed the incident, but he did share an apparently cryptic message on Twitter after the news. “God has a plan,” he wrote.
Dash and Marty met in April 2018 and were married 10 days later, according to the Daily Mail. The lawyer shares three children with his ex-wife, BuzzFeed News reported, while Dash entered the marriage with two children from previous relationships.

However, there appeared to be cracks in the marriage prior to the separation announcement, as Dash was arrested in September 2019 on a domestic assault charge for allegedly “shoving and slapping” Marty after “verbal argument,” according to NBC News. The Mo’ Money star pleaded not guilty to the charge and the case was dropped in October 2019.
“She was arrested over my objection at the time, but due to the pending investigation, I waited to comment until now,” the attorney reportedly tweeted about the situation. “We both hope to achieve this.”
