The singer Grimes revealed that she and Elon Musk changed their newborn’s name. X Æ A-12 will have a new name that will be acceptable by the law.
After a fan asked Grimes did they changed the son’s name because of Californian laws, the mother replied that Musk’s sixth child and her first will now be named X Æ A-Xii. Grimes answered to another fan that “one dash is allowed” in California law, adding that “Roman numerals. Looks better tbh”.
When the couple revealed the name of the newborn, their fans pointed out immediately that the baby’s official certificate wouldn’t be accepted as valid by the state of California, since it is not allowed to use symbols, numbers or Roman numerals on birth certificates.
