Professional boxer Floyd Mayweather is the father of four children: sons Zion Shamaree and Koraun, and daughters Jirah and Iyanna, also known as YaYa. Entrepreneur Melissa Brim, owner of her own boutique, is YaYa’s mother. Zion, Koraun, and Jirah’s mother was Floyd’s former Josie Harris. Harris was found dead in her car on March 10, 2024. She was 40 years old, by TMZ.
YaYa, who turns 20 on May 20, 2024, made headlines in April 2024 for all the wrong reasons. In the early morning hours of April 4, 2024, the teenager allegedly broke into the home of her NBA boyfriend YoungBoy in Houston and found him there with his baby mom, LaPattra Lashai Jacobs. After telling the young woman that she was the rapper’s fiancee, YaYa told Jacobs to get out of the house. When Jacobs refused, YaYa grabbed two knives from the kitchen and stabbed her, by TMZ.
Jacobs was taken to the hospital, while YaYa was detained. TMZ obtained his police photo. In it, Floyd’s eldest daughter is seen rocking her purple hair without makeup.

However, on April 6, 2024, he seemed to respond to backlash over YaYa’s behavior with an Instagram post of him fighting with his son Koraun. “I never claimed to be perfect, but I strive to be the best possible father. #DaddyDuties @kingkoraun”, the caption of the video read.
YaYa Mayweather remains silent after the attack

After YaYa Mayweather stabbed her at NBA YoungBoy’s home, Jacobs broke her silence about the incident on Instagram. “No, I am not ok. I’m really screwed and I hate to say it. Can you leave me alone?” she wrote on her Instagram story, according to Hot97.
She has not already spoken about the attack, however, her mother, Melissa Brim, showed her support for her daughter in an Instagram video of them walking hand in hand. “I covered your back FOREVER,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Jacobs’ mother told enemies via Instagram not to talk about her daughter anymore, according to Ace Showbiz . “Can they hate the press because you do me a favor and stop worrying about LaPattra La’shai ys ** k her *** ys ** k YoungBoy **** and let me see my boy,” reportedly wrote.
YaYa Mayweather has always loved the attention

For Christmas 2019, the professional boxer gifted YaYa Mayweather with a Mercedes-Benz G Wagon worth more than $ 150,000, according to TVOM. Floyd even posted the gift on his Instagram. “MERRY CHRISTMAS @moneyyaya”, he wrote in the caption. He also gave him a Mercedes three years earlier for his 16th birthday, TVOM reported.
YaYa grew up in the spotlight and seems to thrive on it. As fans may know, she is an aspiring rapper and even released a song and music video under the name of Money Yaya. He was also the subject of one of the NBA YoungBoy songs. When the celebrities (temporarily) broke up in late 2019, YoungBoy released a diss song addressed to YaYa titled “Dirty Iyanna,” a nod to Michael Jackson’s “Dirty Diana”.
With that said, YaYa didn’t seem too angry about it given the fact that in December 2019, she shared a photo of herself on Instagram titled ‘DIRTY IYANNA’. She and YoungBoy rekindled their romance soon after, and now that YaYa is in serious trouble with the law, her boyfriend insists on calling her his “wife,” while she continues to call him his “fiance” on social media.
