FedEx: Using your student ID, you can save 30% on documents and 20% on shipping services with FedEx Office.

Barnes and Nobles: It’s not a student discount, but you can save up to 90% on used textbooks and rentals.

The New York Times: Get your first 4 weeks FREE and then continue to get unlimited access to The New York Times for just $1 a week.

Penske: Get a break on your college move with a 10% discount at Penske Truck Rental when you show your college ID.


Arby’s: Arby’s offers a 10% discount at certain locations with your student ID.

Burger King: That burger and fries will come with a 10% discount when you flash your ID (at select locations).

Chipotle: Some Chipotle restaurants offer a free small drink with your meal when you show your student ID.

24 Hour Fitness: Most 24 Hour Fitness locations offer special pricing for students, though it varies depending on the gym. Check with your local 24 Hour Fitness for pricing.

Eastern Mountain Sports: Need to stock up on some workout gear? Eastern Mountain Sports offers 15% off full-price national brand items and 20% off all full-price EMS brand items when you show your ID.


Apple: Students can save up to $300 on a MacBook—and you get a free pair of Beats wireless headphones when you buy a Mac or iPad Pro for college.

Apple Music: It’s only $4.99 a month for students, and there’s a three month free trial.

Dell University: Dell University is a program that offers discounts on technology for students, including a $150 coupon.

Microsoft: Need some sweet new electronics? Students save 10% off Surface devices!

Adobe: Special pricing for both students and teachers, discounting many of their popular programs by as much as 60% off retail.

Norton Software: Students receive up to 50% off some of their most popular products.

AMC Theatres: AMC Theatres offer special discounted tickets for students every Thursday. Check with your local AMC for pricing.

Cinemark: Cinemark offers discounted movie tickets that vary by location for students who show their ID.

Regal Cinemas: Many Regal Cinemas offer student discounts. Enter your zip code on the site to see whether your local theater is one of them.

Redbox: Not just for students, however you can receive a free one-day rental for liking them on Facebook or creating a new account.

Art Museums: Many art museums have great student discounts! Sometimes the even waive the admission fees completely.

Amtrak: Get great deals off train tickets by receiving 15% off on Amtrak.

ShortLine/Coach USA: If you’re about the bus life, CoachUSA offers a variety of discounts for students traveling from or to selected schools listed on their website.

Eurail: If you’re studying abroad, you can save 35% off the regular fare with a Eurail Youth Pass.

Choice Hotels: Many hotels offer student discounts, check the websites or call the hotel to confirm.

Coach USA: Coach USA offers discounts for students on scheduled routes. Just visit their site to view the details.


Allstate: Allstate offers a car insurance discount of up to 20% off for full-time students under the age of 25. Contact your local agent for more details.

Geico: Full-time students between ages of 16 and 25 can get up to $200 off Geico car insurance when they maintain a “B” average or better.

Esurance: The company known for it’s quirky commercials offers a car insurance discount to full-time students under the age of 25 who maintain a “B” average (3.0 GPA). Additionally, Pac-12 students and alumni can save up to 15% off their premiums. With a clean driving record, Esurance will lower premiums every six months.

State Farm: State Farm has a Good Student Discount that varies depending on where you live. Their website indicates savings of up to 25%, plus you can continue receiving the special rate until you turn 25, even if you already graduated.

Farmers Insurance: There are a couple discounts for students from Travelers. The first is the standard Student Discount of up to 8% for maintaining at least a “B” average and under the age of 25. They also have a Student Away at School Discount of up to 7% for parents with dependents attending school at least 100 miles away.

Rail Europe: The European train service provides varying discounts for those 16 to 25 years of age.

Greyhound: Students save 20% on unrestricted tickets to thousands of locations nationwide. Save 40% on shipping through Greyhound

Sprint: The discount varies by school but the standard seems to be 10% off your total monthly bill.

Verizon: Varies by school, calling customer service and getting the discount for your specific school is the best way to find out your discount.

AT&T: Discounts available at participating schools, contact AT&T customer service to confirm your school.

T-Mobile: Filling out a quick form will determine if you are eligible for a discount.

Cricket: The plan for students includes unlimited talk, text and 3G data.
