A Reflection on Anthony Bourdain's Legacy
Movie Review: "Deadpool 2" is a Garrulous, Charismatic Sequel
As an experienced traveler, I can say that traveling can help you understand other people’s cultures and views better. If you ever get the chance to, definitely leave your bubble and go out to explore. Here are my Top 5 favorite places I have visited outside the United States.
Austria, in general, is such an underrated place in the modern world. Overall, Austria is rich in culture and has many beautiful mountains and nice people. Vienna used to be a place where Europe’s most famous composers came to share their music with the world. These composers can include Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Schubert and Johann Strauss II. In addition, Vienna has many luxurious, historical palaces you can visit, such as the Schönbrunn Palace (as shown in the picture above).

If you’re a big foodie, like me, Hong Kong is a great place to go Originally a British territory, Hong Kong has so many great places to eat and shop. Also, a popular tourist destination is Victoria Peak.
Seoul is another great place to shop and eat a lot of good food. Being the capital of South Korea, it has many historical sites, such as the Gyeongbokgung Palace (as shown in the picture above), while also having a strong modern city-life.
Austria is such a beautiful place that I had to include it twice on this list. Salzburg is the birthplace of Mozart and the Mirabell Palace is known as one of the sites where The Sound of Music was filmed. The city also has a castle called Hohensalzburg Castle, which overlooks Salzburg on a small hill.
Dinkelsbühl is a small historical town in Germany. It is a quiet town full of small “Mom and Pop” shops. What I liked about Dinkelsbühl, in particular, was that it provides a feeling of home and comfort while exploring and being immersed into a new culture.
Growing up, I was a really active person. I did things like basketball, skiing, gymnastics, band, yearbook club, honor societies, martial arts, etc. But I enjoy traveling and learning about history (I know, you’re probably thinking “Well that’s boring”). Although I can be active, I also just like simply just watching Netflix or something.
