You are almost done with finals and can not wait to be through with classes, however you know there are several benefits to enrolling in class for the summer. Coming from a student who has taken summer classes every year, this is why you should make the decision to take class(es) over the summer.
During the Fall Semester, there are football games, getting to know your professors and new classmates, participating in new functions, rush, etc. You are constantly so busy that you would rather not overload your school schedule with too many classes– UNDERSTANDABLE!! During the Spring Semester, you try to take classes you know will help boost your GPA at the last second and end the year strong. But what happens when there are too many classes to take and not enough space in your schedule? Or you find yourself struggling in one class because you aren’t able to focus solely on it?
These are the numerous advantages to taking summer classes! You aren’t under the stress of all your other classes and extra curricular activities, you get to relax and have the option of taking them online and enjoy the comfort of your own home (or away on vacation), and these classes can help boost your credits, whether they push you ahead or allow you to stay on track. The greatest thing is that you now have the option of taking the class all summer or enrolling in a mini semester either at the beginning or end of the semester.

Take one hard class and focus independently on that or take two easier classes and glide right through them with no issue! And there is no harm in keeping busy during the summer, even if it’s with the help of classes!
I am originally from Auburn, Alabama and, with an easy decision, stayed for college to study Exercise Science with the hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist. I love traveling and shopping, but most of all I love my dog Pepper and eating good food. I am very outgoing, independent, and passionate about the things I love, but most of all I am confident in who I am and show this off with my witty personality.
