On Saturday, April 14th, Beyonce became the first black female to headline in Indio, California at Coachella. This is the 19th annual Coachella weekend and Bey left us all shocked with yet another ground shaking performance. This was an extremely career defining set for her and about half way through her performance, she brought out her husband, Jay Z to perform “Deja-Vu.”
As if her performance could not have gone any better, she also brought out Destiny’s Child to play some of their classic songs, such as, “Lose My Breath,” “Say My Name,” and “Soldier.” I feel privileged to have even be able to watch our Queen B’s performance off of my phone.
Social media went absolutely crazy. Iggy Azalea tweeted, “I don’t think I’ll ever see a better show than the one I just watched Beyonce perform tonight. I am shaken to my bones.”

We Need to Talk About ‘Beychella’
Chance The Rapper even joined the hype by saying, “I just saw the greatest show to ever happen. @beyonce” If you have Chance The Rapper tweeting like this, it just goes to speak measures.
Even Adele posted a video of her dancing in front of her TV to the jaw dropping performance.

Beyonce was supposed to perform last year at Coachella 2017, but she ended up having to postpone the performance due to her pregnancy with her twins. To say the least, her comeback this year surpassed both last year and this years expectations.
Not only did Beyonce perform a two hour performance, but she somehow managed to have four outfit changes as well as do a nail color change between some of her songs…iconic. She could have done half of her performance and still would have gotten the reactions that she’s getting. Easily said, she’s one of the greatest artists of all time.
Beyonce is 36 years old, has three children, is 22 years into her career and is STILL topping herself every time she performs. Let that sink in.
