Larry June: The Healthiest Guy in the Rap Game (Interview)
Starting at 8:00am, the gates were opened, tickets were checked, and all in attendance entered as the festivities began. After parking their cars, students, dressed in their best country attire, set up their tents, turned on their speakers, and opened their coolers to set the scene for the hours to come. Centered in the field was the main stage, where later that day Riley Green was to perform at 4:30 pm, accompanied by the infamous Cole Swindell around 6:00 pm.
Around the stage were other tents, vendors with food and beverages, large wagons where students congregated to get a better view, and fences where the rodeo events took place. For those who booked and entered the rough stock events, they could ride bareback, saddle bronc, or bulls. There was even the option to ride the mechanical bull. What’s a rodeo without the rodeo, right? Amongst all the events, there was a DJ on stage providing music until it was time for the main acts of the night.

As the sun started to fade, the crowd started to gather and Riley Green made his appearance on stage. Everyone sang along as he played a line-up of his songs, one after the other engaging with the crowd, making them sing louder and louder with strum of his guitar. Then, the DJ came back out for an “intermission” to allow the crowd to re-group, purchase more concessions, and prepare for an evening of their lives.
Thanks to the sponsoring of Natural Light, the crowd was finally given what they all came for: “Cole Swindell” and they go wild! Voices and drinks are raised as the introduction and stage presence of Cole Swindell begins. Just like before, the crowd sang word after word of his songs, dancing to the beat of the music. If you were to turn around, the crowd was thick, filled to the brim with the familiar faces of friends and family, all here for the same reason. Following his last song, promises of continuing the party downtown Auburn are spoke into action and cheers erupt. Fans head back to their cars, pack up their belongings, and head towards the exit. Even though Rodeo has ended, the night is still young and the party will continue…
Thank you, Old Row, for another unforgettable Rodeo experience!

I am originally from Auburn, Alabama and, with an easy decision, stayed for college to study Exercise Science with the hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist. I love traveling and shopping, but most of all I love my dog Pepper and eating good food. I am very outgoing, independent, and passionate about the things I love, but most of all I am confident in who I am and show this off with my witty personality.
