HAIM performed at Las Vegas’ annual Life Is Beautiful music festival and absolutely blew away everyone in the crowd with their insane musical talent.
Last weekend, Las Vegas held it’s annual summer festival, Life Is Beautiful, for their fifth consecutive year. With every year that passes, each musical act gets bigger, and the festival itself grows to become more beautiful. In highlighting a certain musical act from the weekend, Los Angeles based band HAIM, completely dominated the Ambassador stage and completely captivated thousands of festival goers.
The last time the sister act performed in Vegas was in April of 2014, and with the release of their sophomore album “Something To Tell You,” it was safe to say that many people were excited to see them perform against the neon lit background of the Las Vegas sky once again. Over seven thousand people scheduled that they were planning to see HAIM perform their set, but it’s even crazier to note that there were definitely more than seven thousand in attendance watching and singing along.
HAIM also noticed the energy that was being emitted from the crowd and all three sisters were completely taken away by the amazing interactions that they shared with their fans. Performing songs like “Want You Back”, “My Song 5”, and even Shania Twain’s “That Don’t Impress Me Much”, HAIM put on a show that was more than just memorable. From impromptu dance sessions up on stage and with the crowd, to HAIM’s insanely talented drumming session, and beach balls being tossed around the crowd, the whole set was pure vivacity from start to finish.
Towards the end of their set, Este Haim made it known that the three love Vegas and even mentioned that they would be back soon. Many fans took that as an inkling into thinking that HAIM might add a vegas tour date for when they go on the road to promote their second album. On Monday, they also released their short documentary “Valentine” which gave their fans a glimpse into their recording process of “Something To Tell You”.
Watching the documentary gives fans a great understanding as to how much emotion and energy HAIM puts into creating and performing their art. If you’re not already a fan of HAIM’s, I would suggest watching their short film because it will definitely turn you into one as it showcases their complete and true talent.
