Day 2 of Pitchfork 2017 was filled to the brim with legends.
From George Clinton, to PJ Harvey, and A Tribe Called Quest closing out the night, day 2 of the Pitchfork Music Festival was a day for the books. Among these legends were some of the hottest rising names in music. Lead singer of Cherry Glazerr came crawling and snarling out on stage, Francis and the Lights danced his face off and even climbed a tree, and Angel Olsen captivated the hearts of audience members.
Outside of these musical festivities, there was a host of other exciting things happening at the festival. There were rows of posters for sale designed by talented artists. Book Fort hosted local record label, Closed Sessions, for a curated lineup of spoken word from Chicago artists such as Kweku Collins and WebsterX. There was also a record fair featuring some of Chicago’s most beloved record stores. Beside this there was also clothing and jewelry for sale.
Peep some snaps from the weekend and stay tuned for day three details!
