Amy’s Kitchen Takes Home Freezie Award

Source: intersticearchitects.com

It ain’t easy getting a Freezie, but Amy’s Kitchen made the cut. As if there weren’t enough reasons to celebrate Amy’s Kitchen’s solid success in the frozen food industry, the vegetarian frozen food purveyor has been honored with a prestigious Freezie Award.

The popular food blog Simply Recipes launched the first Freezie Awards on National Frozen Food Day, March 6. The Freezie Awards recognize the best-tasting frozen food products. More than 200 items were tested by food professionals, including cookbook authors, registered nutritionists, and professional chefs. Every winning product costs less than $16 for a full meal.

Amy’s Kitchen’s Roasted Poblano Enchiladas snagged the Best New Frozen Vegetarian Main accolade.

“So honored to win a first-ever Freezie Award!” Amy’s Kitchen posted on its Instagram account.

The gluten-free, tree-nut-free, kosher meal is nestled in an organic corn tortilla and is chock-full of carrots, bell peppers, zucchini, and fire-roasted poblanos, paired with organic house-made tofu and blanketed with a blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.

“We fold the tortillas by hand, cover them with our smooth, creamy poblano sauce and finish with a little extra cheese,” it states on amys.com. “As if you didn’t already love Mexican food enough.”

Sarah Crowder, the art director who is credited with visuals and design for the Freezie Awards, praised the winning dish: “It is so flavorful — it’s veggie-filled, and the poblano flavor is prominent in the sauce. I would buy this for my family.”

The Pancake Princess blogger Erika Kwee also expressed her appreciation for Amy’s Kitchen’s Roasted Poblano Enchiladas on simplyrecipes.com.

“With fresh flavor, great texture to the corn tortillas, and creamy sauce, this feels like a restaurant dish as opposed to a frozen meal,” Kwee described. “The tofu filling makes it feel hearty and satisfying as a meal.”

And Amy’s Kitchen is in good company. Some of the other frozen foods to capture Freezies include Banza Blueberry Protein Waffles, MìLà Pork Soup Dumplings, Genio Della Pizza The Bianca, Cappello’s Buttermilk Biscuits, Homebake 425°/:30 Homestyle Mac & Cheese, Homebake 425°/:30 Pulled Pork with BBQ Sauce, Yasso Fudge Chocolate Crunch, and Tillamook Neapolitan ice cream.

Amy’s Kitchen’s Road to the Freezie Awards

Source: just-food.com

The Amy’s Kitchen journey began with a simple idea: to provide tasty, vegetarian meals for those too busy to cook. From its humble beginnings, it has grown into a household name, offering a wide range of products — from frozen pizzas and entrees to soups and burritos — all made with organic ingredients and prepared with the same care and attention as homemade fare.

The Freezie Awards committee highlighted several factors contributing to Amy’s Kitchen’s win, including the use of quality ingredients and criteria based on taste, texture, nutritional value, and total appeal. For a product to be considered for a Freezies Award, it also had to have launched sometime last year and be available nationwide.

The success of Amy’s Kitchen and its recognition by the Freezie Awards demonstrate that delicious, convenient food with organic options is possible.

As Amy’s Kitchen continues to innovate and lead by example, its Freezie Award win is a milestone that underscores the company’s role in shaping the future of food for the better.

Myo Quinn, Simply Recipes’ associate editorial director, appeared on CBS Mornings to explain the awards and the winning foods.

“There has been a remarkable evolution in the frozen foods aisle,” Quinn told CBS. “For over 20 years, Simply Recipes has been a resource for busy home cooks that want smart, easy, and delicious weeknight dinner solutions, and that’s what we did with the frozen foods.

“Our editors are already huge fans of Amy’s Kitchen for their organic, vegetarian frozen foods so it was no surprise their new Roasted Poblano Enchiladas won. It tastes delicious. You can taste the corn in the tortillas, the sharp cheese. It’s not too spicy.”

Family Matters With Frozen Food

Quinn went on to express gratitude for the convenience of frozen food during economically challenging times.

“Frozen foods are an affordable way to feed families,” Quinn added. “They have a long shelf life, so it helps reduce food waste. All our products again are under $16 and many are under $8 to feed a family of four.

“And I can tell you, as a busy working mom of three, the greatest benefit of frozen foods is the gift of time when I can reach into my freezer for a meal that I feel really good about feeding my family in a fraction of the time it takes to make it from scratch. That is time I can spend with my kids.”

Being able to offer the opportunity for its customers to indulge in more family time is an essential ingredient to Amy’s Kitchen. Amy’s Kitchen’s co-founders Andy and Rachel Berliner started their business out of a need to feed their own growing family.

When Rachel Berliner was pregnant and in need of quick-prep organic, vegetarian cuisine, Andy Berliner was tasked with finding it at their local grocery store. When the options didn’t win over the couple’s taste buds, they decided to take matters into their own hands and whip up a vegetarian potpie. From that desire, Amy’s Kitchen came to be.

“We’ve always started from the very first day with this premise that every meal we serve should be good enough, taste good enough that we would serve it to our closest friends and family,” Amy’s Kitchen President Paul Schiefer says. “And the way to do that is by finding the highest quality ingredients, working directly with farmers and growers on varieties and processing techniques so we get the best thing to start with.”

In keeping with the family spirit, Amy’s Kitchen has launched family-size packs of its burritos, pad Thai, pesto tortellini, vegetable lasagna, and offers a family-size pack of its Freezie Award-winning Roasted Poblano Enchiladas.

“By building these bigger pack sizes, we’re able to bring new value to our consumers and make Amy’s work as a lunch or dinner solution for an entire family,” Schiefer says.

From Chaos to Order ─ Organizing Your Business the Smart Way

Source: blog.upal.com.my

In the daily whirlwind of running a business, it’s easy for things to spiral into disarray. Scattered paperwork, missed deadlines, and crossed wires inevitably lead to costly mistakes and frustration.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. Getting organized and implementing smart systems means you can restore order and promote a smoothly operating company.

Identify Your Obstacles

The first step is recognizing where breakdowns are occurring. Make a list of all the inefficiencies and bottlenecks plaguing your operations. This will highlight your biggest organizational needs and challenges requiring solutions.

It is also wise to get input from employees closer to certain processes. They will have sharp insights on the root problems and realistic ways to address them.

Explore Business Management Software

Source: blog.shift4shop.com

One of the most powerful tools for optimizing operations is an integrated business management software platform. The experts over at Modest explain that these comprehensive solutions allow you to sync and streamline all your core processes, like:

  • Customer management – Centralize customer data, communications, invoicing, and support requests in one database.
  • Project organization – Create clear task workflows, deadlines, shared file repositories, and team discussions about each project.
  • Supply & inventory tracking – Gain full visibility of inventory levels, orders, purchasing, warehousing operations, and more.
  • Financial administration – Link accounting, payroll, taxes, and reporting for seamless money management.

The best part is that information flows effortlessly between these various business components. No more copying data between separate systems or dealing with conflicting information.

Just be sure to choose software with all the functionality and customization ability to serve your specific processes rather than generic, limited programs.

Going Paperless for Efficiency

While on the topic of eliminating redundancies – it is time to ditch the file cabinets and paperwork in favor of secure, cloud-based document management.

Digitize invoices, contracts, employee records, and all other vital files into a centralized online repository. This prevents data loss from misplaced documents while also granting your team easy remote access as needed.

You can even configure document workflow rules for automated routing, approvals, archiving, and seamless integration with your other cloud-based systems.

Streamlining Team Coordination

Source: aleitacademy.co.za

Along with software and file sharing structures, you will also want a system for facilitating efficient team collaboration and communication.

Look for a project management tool that allows you to map out schedules, assign tasks with deadlines, monitor progress, and discuss details without endless email chains. Video conferencing and messaging apps enable clear real-time coordination between on-site and remote employees.

Establish Processes and Responsibilities

Even with all the latest technology, your efforts could falter without documented processes, roles, and responsibilities clearly defined across the organization.

Determine process workflows for key areas like sales, order fulfillment, customer support, content production, etc. Delineate tasks, approvals, handoffs, and ownership for each step along the way.

You will also want to establish company policies regarding data standards, information security, technology usage guidelines, chain of command, and any other governing principles. This consistency and transparency eliminate any confusion while driving accountability.

Ongoing Refinement and Optimization

Organizing your business isn’t a one-and-done endeavor. It is an ongoing practice of continually evaluating processes for potential improvements.

Gather feedback and track KPIs to isolate areas of lingering inefficiency or waste. Research solutions, tweak systems, and realign procedures for a relentless cycle of optimization.

Staying agile and evolving methods alongside your changing needs means you will foster an orderly, well-oiled business always operating at peak potential.

Conclusion

The ultimate payoff is higher productivity, lower operating costs, improved customer satisfaction, and invaluable peace of mind knowing your company is running like a finely tuned machine. So start getting organized today and leave chaos in the rearview mirror.

Is Body Massaging a Profitable Career Choice? Analyzing Income Potential

Source: justdial.com

Massage therapy is an ancient practice that has found its way into modern wellness and healthcare. As people become increasingly aware of the importance of self-care and holistic health, the demand for massage therapists has grown significantly.

This surge in interest might make one wonder: is body massaging a profitable career choice?

In this blog post, we’ll delve into the income potential and various factors that influence the profitability of a career in massage therapy.

The Current State of the Massage Therapy Industry

Source: targettherapies.co.uk

This industry has witnessed substantial growth over the past few years. This expansion is driven by a broader societal shift towards preventative healthcare, wellness, and a growing acceptance of alternative therapies.

The increased demand for massage services is a positive indicator for those considering this career path, including opportunities in 마사지구인, which translates to massage recruitment.

The sheer variety of settings—spas, clinics, private practices, and corporate environments—provides a wide array of opportunities for therapists, from those just starting to seasoned professionals looking to expand their clientele or explore new environments.

When assessing the profitability of a career in massage therapy, one must consider the average income for practitioners. According to national surveys and industry reports, the average income for massage therapists varies significantly based on factors like location, experience, and work setting.

However, it’s crucial to understand that these figures can be deceiving, as they often do not account for part-time workers or those who see massage therapy as a secondary source of income.

Factors Influencing Earning Potential

Source: traveloka.com

The location where a massage therapist chooses to practice can significantly impact their earning potential. Therapists in urban areas or upscale resorts typically charge higher rates than those in rural settings.

Additionally, therapists who own their practices have the potential to earn more, though they also face higher overhead costs. The choice between employment and self-employment is crucial, as it influences not only income but also job stability and benefits.

Experience plays a crucial role in a massage therapist’s earning potential. Seasoned therapists with a solid client base and specialized skills often command higher rates and enjoy greater demand. Specializations, such as sports massage or therapeutic massage for medical conditions, can further enhance a therapist’s marketability and income. Continuing education and professional development are key to maintaining and increasing one’s value in the market.

One of the unique aspects of a career in therapy is the flexibility it offers. Many therapists choose to work part-time, adjusting their schedules to fit personal commitments. While this flexibility is a significant benefit, it can also limit earning potential. However, therapists with entrepreneurial spirit can scale their businesses through additional services, and products, or by hiring additional staff, thereby increasing their profitability.

Conclusion

In conclusion, massage therapy can be a profitable career choice for those who are passionate about health and wellness and are willing to invest in their skills and business.

The income potential varies widely and is influenced by factors such as location, experience, and the ability to adapt to market demands.

Like any career, success in massage therapy requires dedication, professionalism, and a continuous commitment to personal and professional growth.

A Homeowner’s Guide to Buying a Riding Lawn Mower

Looking after your lawn requires a lawn mower. However, a riding lawn mower can significantly reduce the time and effort needed to keep your lawn looking its best.

But with so many options available on the market, choosing the right riding mower can be overwhelming. This detailed guide can help you navigate the buying process.

Assess Your Lawn’s Size and Terrain

Before diving into the world of riding lawn mowers, it’s crucial to assess your lawn’s size and terrain. Larger lawns typically require more powerful mowers with wider cutting decks to cover ground efficiently.

If your lawn has slopes or uneven terrain, you’ll need a mower with excellent traction and stability to navigate safely, like a zero-turn mower.

Consider Your Budget

Riding mowers come in a wide range of prices, so you must set out a budget before starting your search.

While it’s tempting to go for the cheapest option, buying a quality mower can save you money in the long run by providing better performance and durability.

Choose Between Gas or Electric

Riding lawn mowers come in both gas-powered and electric models, and each has its advantages and disadvantages. Gas mowers offer more power and are ideal for large lawns, but they require regular maintenance and produce emissions.

On the other hand, electric mowers are quieter, eco-friendly, and require less maintenance, but they may have limited battery life and power compared to gas models.

Select the Right Cutting Deck Size

The cutting deck size of a riding mower determines the volume of grass it can cut in a single pass. Larger cutting decks are suitable for expansive lawns, as they can cover more ground quickly.

However, if you have tight spaces or obstacles in your yard, a smaller cutting deck may be more maneuverable and practical.

Consider Additional Features

When shopping for a riding lawn mower, consider the additional features that can enhance your mowing experience.

Some models come equipped with features like cruise control, adjustable cutting heights, headlights for mowing in low light conditions, and even attachments for bagging or mulching grass clippings.

Test Drive Before You Buy

Just like buying a car, it’s essential to test drive a riding lawn mower before making a purchase.

Visit local dealerships or home improvement stores to see the mowers in person and get a feel for their performance and comfort features. Pay attention to factors like steering responsiveness, seat comfort, and overall ease of use.

Read Reviews and Compare Brands

Before finalizing your decision, take the time to research and read reviews of different riding lawn mower brands and models.

Look for feedback from homeowners who have similar lawn sizes and terrain to yours, as their experiences can provide valuable insights into the mower’s performance and reliability.

Don’t Forget About Maintenance

Once you’ve purchased a riding lawn mower, proper maintenance is essential to keep it running smoothly for years to come.

Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, blade sharpening, and air filter replacements.

Additionally, store your mower in a clean, dry place when not in use to prevent rust and corrosion.

A Guide to Understanding Workplace Policies and Compliance

Employees and employers alike need to have a firm grasp of company policies and legal compliance in the workplace.

Understanding the rules, regulations, and procedures around things like harassment, time off, pay, and health insurance is crucial for both individuals and organizations.

Equal Employment Opportunity

Equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws prohibit workplace discrimination and harassment. The Civil Rights Act protects employees and candidates from discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, and genetic information.

Organizations must provide reasonable accommodations for disabilities and religious beliefs. The experts over at VertiSource HR tell us that knowing EEO policies ensures fair, unbiased treatment in hiring, pay, promotions, terminations, and benefits administration.

Harassment & Discrimination

Source: eqs.com

Workplace harassment and discrimination policies strive to create positive environments free from hostility. Harassment covers a wide range of verbal, written, or physical conduct, from bullying and threats to inappropriate jokes or pictures.

Forms of illegal harassment and discrimination include sexual harassment, racial discrimination, religious discrimination, disability harassment and age discrimination. Companies typically provide training on recognizing and reporting objectionable behavior through proper channels.

Safety & Health

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations around safety hazards, protective equipment, accident reporting, first aid, fire exits, and hazardous materials aim to prevent illness, injury, and death on the job. Safety policies instruct proper procedures for operating equipment, evacuation plans, injury protocols, violence prevention, and accident investigation.

Companies monitor accidents and near misses to identify risks and corrections as part of their safety management systems. They also offer health insurance and benefits administration for quality, affordable care.

Compensation & Time Tracking

Source: patriotsoftware.com

Wage and hour regulations determine minimum wage, overtime pay eligibility, final pay rules, and other compensation requirements. Employers must keep thorough records of hours worked and calculate overtime accurately while prohibiting off-the-clock work.

Time tracking policies cover when to clock in and out, meal and rest break duration, timecard adjustments, attendance expectations, and vacation approval. The payroll system, integrated with time tracking, generates paychecks following precise calculations and reporting subject to audits.

Time-Off & Leave

The Family Medical Leave Act entitles eligible employees to take unpaid, job-protected leave for certain family caregiving and serious health conditions while maintaining their health benefits during the leave.

Separate laws provide access to paid sick leave for personal and family care in many places. Company policies spell out how to request time off under these regulations and in what increments, depending on the situation.

Privacy & Data Security

Source: hitachi-systems-security.com

Private employee data merits strong protection policies to avoid leaks that compromise individuals or corporate information systems. Electronic communications, confidential data storage, password protocols, and access controls should have oversight, including encryption, multi-factor authentication, network security monitoring, removal of access after termination, and thorough data backup planning.

Breaches trigger response protocols for notifying those affected and investigating/resolving the underlying vulnerability while properly handling any identified sensitive information according to data privacy regulations.

Code of Conduct

A code of conduct or employee handbook serves as an ethical guide for employees when fulfilling daily responsibilities per company principles, standards, and mission.

It covers preferred behavior related to honesty, integrity, accountability, conflicts of interest, gifts, confidentiality, public communications/social media, alcohol/drugs, violence, company resources, intellectual property, political activities, and legal compliance.

Potential disciplinary processes for rule violations promote thoughtful decision-making.

Conclusion

Creating positive, thriving workplaces with fair treatment for all begins with everyone knowing and following standardized policies.

Understanding the comprehensive structure that governs behavior and outlines rights and recourse measures empowers individuals and fortifies organizations.

When unsure about something on the job, seek more information from supervisors, HR representatives, employee handbooks, or helplines.

Balancing Act ─ How Hospitals Manage Resources During Peak Times

Managing resources during times of high demand is an ongoing challenge for hospitals. Emergency department staffing, bed capacity, equipment, and lab services must scale to manage sudden surges in patients while maintaining quality of care.

According to the experts at Southland MD, this balancing act requires careful planning, adaptable protocols, and coordination across all hospital departments.

Predicting Patient Volumes

Anticipating patient volumes is key to preparedness. Hospitals monitor historical data on daily, weekly, and seasonal fluctuations. Weekdays see more emergency cases than weekends, while the winter months drive up respiratory admissions. Knowing when volumes typically peak helps administrators get ahead of increased needs by increasing emergency department staffing.

Computer programs can now even forecast volumes using statistical modeling to integrate various data points like weather patterns, and community events that could increase accidents, and outbreaks of illness. This information guides staffing levels, bed management, and resource planning.

Source: emergencyphysicians.org

Flexing Staff and Beds

Nursing shortages make staffing a constant struggle. Strategies like ‘on-call’ pools and incentive shifts help scale the number of nurses available during peak admission times. Registered nurses might also ‘float’ to different units based on changing priorities. Flexible physician schedules put more doctors on duty when the emergency department and admissions tend to overflow.

Beds can be mobilized too. Licensed beds kept offline can be opened during high census times or patients can wait in beds temporarily set up in hallways, conference rooms, and unused patient rooms.

Emergency Department Traffic Control

Patient overload in the ER slows down care and strains the entire system. Efficient ER triage and coordination keep patients moving through initial assessment, treatment, and decision to admit, or discharge home. Protocols like ‘Immediate Bedding’ can prioritize ER cases directly to inpatient units, bypassing the ER entirely.

For less acute patients, Fast Track units offer rapid care for simpler cases. Central ‘bed czars’ monitor ER backlogs and hospital-wide bed status directing patient flow while strong communication between the ER and bed management ensures prompt movement when inpatient beds become available, helping to avoid dangerous ER bottlenecks.

Source: northwell.edu

Load Balancing Equipment and Services

Pressures ripple out to hospital labs, pharmacies, diagnostic equipment and services like CT scans. Workload capacity planning reviews current inventory and staff capacity relative to rising volumes.

Additional CT scanners might stay idle except during known busy periods. Lab staff get increased hours or temporary workers fill gaps in peak seasons. Scalable service contracts allow more diagnostic equipment maintenance coverage on short notice if older machines risk breaking down.

Pharmacy staff strain to fill higher prescription orders timely while keeping track of drug inventory. Hospitals thus emphasize realistic workflows and staff training to manage sporadic jumps in demand without getting overwhelmed.

Contingency Plans for the Worst Case

Despite best efforts, a mass casualty event, disease outbreak, or natural disaster can increase admissions beyond normal thresholds. Emergency preparedness drills ready hospitals to enact contingency expansion plans, where they convert additional space into patient care areas and temporarily modify staff responsibilities.

In dire situations, care spaces not typically used for patients, like post-anesthesia care units, outpatient dialysis centers, or hospital lobbies, retrofit into patient treatment zones powered by emergency generators if the main power fails.

Source: shiftmed.com

Conclusion

Running a hospital requires continuous balancing of space, staff, and resources. Smooth operations rely on the coordination of all departments, flexible capacity, scalable resources, and readiness to respond to fluctuating patient needs.

While planning helps limit chaos, hospitals also prepare staff to handle times when overwhelming medical demands stretch their capabilities to the very limit. The measure of quality care derives not from avoiding strains entirely but delivering excellent healthcare even in the most difficult circumstances.

The Rise of NSFW Chats ─ Exploring the Evolution of Adult Conversational Platforms

Source: metaroids.com

In the digital age, adult conversational platforms have undergone significant transformations. These platforms, often referred to as NSFW (Not Safe For Work) chats, have evolved from hidden corners of the internet to mainstream channels, catering to diverse interests and communities. This post explores this evolution, offering insights into the drivers of this change and the implications for digital communication.

The Early Days of NSFW Chats

The inception traces back to the early days of the internet, where bulletin board systems (BBS) and later, internet relay chats (IRC), served as the primary platforms. Initially, these spaces were covert, used by small groups who shared common interests in adult-themed discussions and content. The anonymity of the internet provided a veil of privacy, encouraging users to explore and express their adult interests without the fear of real-world repercussions.

As the internet became more accessible, so did Not Safe For Work chats. The advent of web forums and social media platforms in the early 2000s marked a significant shift. These platforms offered more user-friendly interfaces and fostered communities around every imaginable niche, including adult content. The normalization of adult content in broader media and a growing acceptance of diverse sexualities contributed to the destigmatization. This period saw a surge in the number of users and the variety of platforms available.

Source: medium.com

Technological Advancements and User Experience

Technological advancements have played a pivotal role in the evolution of NSFW AI chat. The development of faster internet speeds, smartphones, and sophisticated encryption methods has transformed the user experience. High-definition video chats, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) experiences have become commonplace, offering users immersive and interactive adult experiences. These technological leaps have made them more engaging, attracting a broader audience.

With the rise in popularity of Not Safe For Work chats, concerns over privacy and safety have also escalated. Platform developers have responded by implementing robust encryption, anonymity options, and strict community guidelines to protect users. Features like end-to-end encryption in messaging apps ensure that conversations remain confidential, while anonymous profiles allow users to explore their interests without compromising their real-world identities. These measures have made NSFW chats safer, fostering trust and growth within these communities.

The Cultural Impact and Future Directions

The proliferation reflects broader cultural shifts towards sexual openness and the acceptance of adult content. These platforms have contributed to the destigmatization of adult conversations and content, encouraging a more open discourse on sexuality and adult themes.
