If UNHhhh taught me anything, it’s how to greet: Hi! I’m the bed bug that your mom said not to let you bite, but you just didn’t listen, Brad Antonio!
Hosted by two Drag Queens from season seven of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Trixie Mattel (left on header) and Yekaterina Petrovna Zamolodchikova (a.k.a. Katya, right on header), UNHhhh is a web series on YouTube where this duo can manage to let it all out without ruining their tuck. In other words, it’s a show where they talk about whatever they want, because it’s their show and not ours.
Every episode holds a new topic for these two queens to discuss. From the 90s and Thanksgiving, to Hollywood and Magic! What gives the show its quality, life, and entertainment is almost every single word that comes out for their mouths. Trixie and Katya show off their tongue skills with snappy remarks, unthinkable punchlines, and perfectly-fitting RPDR references.
For those who have never seen nor heard of this series
If you’re bored while time passes, coming home from a bad day, or need a good giggle, then I recommend opening up your YouTube app and pay attention to what these ladies have to say. There is no doubt that you’ll a) learn something, b) rewind several times to hear the joke again, and c) become a fan! It may take some time to understand a lot of what they’re saying. However, the more you find yourself getting into it, the more value you’ll put into Trixie, Katya, and UNHhhh as a whole.
With that being said, the following 3 videos are specific reasons why you should watch UNHhhh (viewer discretion is advised):
1. Trixie Mattel
She’s the chemical burn from the spiral perm that excels at some of the most hilarious jokes you’ll ever hear, Trixie Mattel. Commit yourself to listening to her, and you’ll impress your friends the same way she impresses Katya. I guarantee it. Here’s a compilation of some of Trixie’s craziest and smartest moments. *WeHo voice* OH HOOONEYYY, appreciate it and live for it!
2. Katya Zamolodchikova
She’s the only surefire way to disengage your temporal mandibular joint, DOCTOR BITCHCRAAAFT…Katya! Please protect this woman at all costs. She has a laugh in the form of a wheeze, a style on its own spectrum, and all the knowledge from community college. Here’s Katya’s compilation of her absurdities, love for Contact (1997), and inspirational food for thoughts.
3. The Editing
If anyone is responsible for emphasizing, if not, bettering Trixie & Katya’s jokes, it’s Ron & Chris. Every episode will contain out-of-the-world graphics and visual edits that sit well with the overall aesthetic of the show. The editing gives us life through selecting the best statements and moments that happened in front of the camera, and then taken to the next level with backgrounds, random characters, pictures, and facial cropping. If there were any more stars of the show, it’s the editors. Here’s an episode (part one of two) dedicated to editing, as Trixie & Katya wear green suits and find themselves in the most random circumstances.
Sometimes, all we need in life are three simple reasons to seek the best things in life.
UNHhhh shows only a fraction of what Trixie & Katya can do with their drag careers. Love them? Well there’s a whole lot more where that come from. They’re a dynamic duo you can grow to love and support, because of their humor, talent, intelligence, and self-depracating one-liners.

…and did I mention that the queens are gonna have their own show on Viceland later this fall? Even if you don’t have cable, you can always come back to the web, where you’re always welcome! But if you don’t even have that, I’m sorry.
