Fresh Music Friday turns 6 months old this week! In honor of the milestone, we have a special playlist for you this week.
Michael Cottone: ‘Pork Soda’ – Glass Animals
Glass Animals’ How To Be A Human Being has been a album that I’ve dug into recently. The process Dave Bayley used to write the album is simply amazing. He combines intricate lyricism with catchy hooks to engage listeners.
‘7’ – Catfish and the Bottlemen
Catfish has personally been one of my favorite groups since their debut album, The Balcony, came out in 2014. This song comes from their sophomore follow up The Ride. Give Catfish and the Bottlemen a listen, they’re going to be doing big things in the coming years.
Maxwell Denari: ‘Sweet sweet’ – Travis Scott
A certified banger on all accounts. Off of Travis Scott’s 2nd studio LP “Birds In the Trap Sing McKnight”. Arguably the catchiest track on the entire project. Be sure to play this for your guests when you have the aux cord at your next party.
‘Call Me Over’ – Noah Carter
The danish recording artist has made waves with his project “Couch Dreams” which was released earlier on in 2017. This project is littered with well-produced bangers and R&B ballads. ‘Call Me Over’ is one to listen to with the bass cranked up.
Mason Pippenger: ‘Schoolin’ Life’ – Beyoncé.
With me moving back to school this week and the fact that it’s Queen Bey, I find this song suitable. The song is just really fun and Beyoncé proves that she’s got pipes! Listen to this and maybe you’ll be more excited about heading into this next semester.
