Program Council’s annual welcoming festival is set to bring some of the biggest acts yet to CU Boulder’s Farrand Field.
From one of the most iconic viewpoints of Boulder’s famous flatirons, CU Boulder’s Program Council is set to put on this year’s edition of the annual Welcomefest Concert on Farrand Field.
Program Council has a strong history of bringing both well-known and up and coming acts to the Welcomefest lineup. This year’s version features headliner Big Baby DRAM, Chicago emcee Noname, producer/DJ Vanic and the local act MTNMEN.
Past stagings of Welcomefest have featured the likes of Big Gigantic, Illenium and Seven Lions. This event kicks off Program Council’s calendar for the 2017/18 school year. Last year, Program Council brought the likes of RL Grime, Ty Dolla $ign and Gallant to venues on the CU campus.
Other announced events from Program Council for this year include the comedian John Mulaney and more that are soon to be announced.
