The month of Awgest is just beginning as A$AP Mob’s collective and individual efforts are slowly being unveiled.
With the previously released “Wrong,” featuring A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg, and “RAF,” Feels So Good marks the third release of the Harlem crew’s upcoming mixtape, Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy. The mixtape, which will drop August 25, follows the group’s most recent albums, Cozy Tapes Vol. 1: Friends and Playboi Carti. The group debuted the track for fans on The Tonight Show Staring Jimmy Fallon this past Tuesday night.

Additionally, they enacted a choreography similar to that in the music video. In both the live performance and the music video, the rappers can be seen reciting their verses in crouched positions as a handheld camera follows them. Feels So Good also includes verses from A$AP Rocky, Ferg, Twelvyy, and Ant.
These recent releases have only confirmed the musical greatness promised by Rocky in his announcement of A$AP Mob’s first annual Awgest. Along with speaking of launching the new Awge website, Rocky also mentioned that members from A$AP Mob would be dropping new music and “kool sh**t” throughout August. So far, A$AP Mob members have done just that, completely taking over the month of August. With the recent drop of A$AP Twelvyy’s successful 14-track album 12, and today’s release of A$AP Ferg’s anticipated album Still Striving, A$AP Mob has undoubtedly made August their own.
Overall, Feels So Good gives off a wavy vibe as A$AP Nast raps, “Yuh, I can’t relate, uh, yuh/To none of you rappers are actors/I swear that these ni**as be fake.” But while the instrumental for the song is dope, the verses for the various rappers vary in terms of skill and depth. Specifically, compared to Cozy Tapes Vol. 1, I feel like the artistry behind the track doesn’t measure up to the caliber of many of the songs on the first Cozy Tapes. But then again, this is just a mere taste of the excellence that is expected to come on August 25th. Give it a listen and decide for yourself.
