After being a band for three years, constantly touring, and creating multiple EP’s to keep their fans satisfied, LANY has released their first self-titled album.
LANY is a Los Angeles-based band who has been rapidly gaining attention from people all over the world. From one of their most popular songs “ILYSB” to their most recent single “The Breakup,” this band is starting to take over the music scene with their synthetic 80’s pop vibe.
Throughout the album, there is a good balance that the band creates of pop songs that strongly glorify youthful relationships and slower, ballads that reminisce on time lost and relationships gone wrong. While listening to their album, it’s truly a soundtrack where every emotion is projected. From feel-good “I want to dance vibes” with their song “Good Girls,” to feelings of annoyance stemming from a bad relationship in “Super Far,” LANY has created a completely honest and open album.
More recently, LANY just released a music video for their single “Good Girls,” and it took on quite an artistic approach as it was filmed to be a prequel for their music video to “ILYSB”. The way that they create their videos to be something other than the typical “lovey-dovey” relationship scene is quite refreshing.
LANY also announced a few months ago that they’re going to be touring all across North America. To see all the tour dates, you can check it out here.
To listen to the album you can stream it on both Spotify and ITunes.
