The 12th annual Pitchfork Music Festival is back this month and we can’t wait.
Chicago’s west side Union Park will be filled with music enthusiasts galore next weekend, July 14th – 16th. The lineup this year is unparalleled to that of other festivals, as Pitchfork consistently diversifies the music they cultivate on their three stages. Beloved legends such as A Tribe Called Quest and LCD Sound System will be gracing festival-goers with their presence, as well as young innovative artists such as Jamila Woods and Francis and the Lights. Below you can find the daily lineup of artists so that you can start planning your weekend in Chicago.
What’s more, this year Pitchfork is making strides to boost the experience of the festival beyond the magic of live music. Saint Heron has partnered with Pitchfork for a Saint Heron House, which will be adding a “multidisciplinary experience”. There will be an on-site art installation for the entirety of the festival, as well as added events throughout niche pockets of the city, such as late night jazz sessions, poetry readings, film screenings, artist talks, and more. The Saint Heron House will be bringing the life of Pitchfork across the city. You can read more about this special collaboration here and grab your tickets for the adventure-filled fest here!
