A social media disaster.
Hullaballoo doesn’t even begin the describe the current state of U.S affairs. While the Russian hacking investigations continue, Trump proceeds to tweet about the progress in that regard. The recent reinstatement of his travel ban, also churned out a mild-mannered tweet from the president. Otherwise, his tweets are comprised of insults and petty feuds against people he doesn’t like. He as even gone so far as to insult world leaders. There was one time where he called out German chancellor Angela Merkel on the trade relations between Germany and the U.S. Note his choice of words:
We have a MASSIVE trade deficit with Germany, plus they pay FAR LESS than they should on NATO & military. Very bad for U.S. This will change

This was posted three days after the G7 summit ended.
Germany is one of the most powerful nations in the European Union, and in the world. To insult the country and their leader, is something that is slowly damaging the reputation Obama carefully built.
In another instance, not involving a tweet, Trump also disrespected the Australian Prime Minister, via a shortened phone call. I could go on about how vocal he was about the U.K’s immigration policies and the prime minister, Theresa May. But I think I’ve said enough. America’s reputation as a leader among nations, is decreasing day by day. If you don’t believe me, take a look at Trump’s approval ratings. They have dipped below 40%. Clearly, something has gone amiss if more than 60% of the population is in disapproval. Yet acknowledge it, he will not.
Mindless tweeting seems to be Trump’s main method of communication to the American public. In them, he insults the media/press, and insults people who he believes are against him. I mean, calling the press “fake news” and insulting talk-show hosts, it’s no wonder America’s reputation is slowly falling from grace. Most of what he posts is unsubstantiated. There are actually quite a few where his claims would be dubbed ‘fake news’ bey everyone else.

He basically bashed the most important news outlets in a single tweet
Watched low rated @Morning_Joe for first time in long time. FAKE NEWS. He called me to stop a National Enquirer article. I said no! Bad show

Not to mention, he singles out shows, and proceeds to insult their quality.
Since the inception of his presidency, Trump has never failed to deliver on his increasingly rash and immature tweets. When he goes on to insult world leaders, it becomes a major cause for concern. Alliances with those nations, like the U.K, and Australia, will considerably weaken. Such countries have attempted to find a common ground with what Trump wants and what the other nations desire for the well-being of the people. If he continues to attack people using twitter the majority of the time, and less of his own words, the reputation of this country could be in shambles by 2020, all because of our president’s overuse of a social media platform called Twitter.
