The announcements aren’t over just yet. The Meadows Music & Arts Festival announces their stellar 2017 line-up.
Just when we thought the festival announcements could not get any better, we are knocked off our feet with the line-up announcement for The Meadows Music & Arts Festival. The festival will be held at Citi Field located in the heart of Queens, New York City on September 15th-17th. Gates will be open daily 11:45AM-10:00PM so not only do you get three days full of talented music, you get mornings and nights to explore the Big Apple itself.
Recently releasing a new album called Humanz the virtual band, Gorillaz, will be headlining alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jay Z, Bassnectar and sixty plus other talented artists. In addition to the four stages that will be full of music performances, The Meadows will have several food vendors, activities when in between sets, and lots of innovative art. Be sure to stop at a vendor to taste the delicious foods that welcome you to the streets of New York. When you are not dancing to your favorite artist, there will be activities including games such as ping-pong and photo booths to document the best three days of the summer. Along with the food vendors and activities, artists will be creating and posting up their art all throughout the festival grounds. Do you want to be a part of the magic? There will be no parking on the festival grounds. Transportation to and from the festival will be available from bus, taxi, the subway, or biking. There is also NO camping on the festival grounds. Tickets are being released starting from early bird, to advance, to regular prices. Along with general admission tickets, there are VIP and platinum tickets. Tickets are bound to sell out so do not sleep on buying your pass into the city.
