Look out makeup lovers, there’s a new collaboration coming your way!
Urban Decay has always been known for their bold palettes. When they released their Alice Through the Looking Glass palette people were shocked, the palette featured bold and vibrant colors all wrapped up in a unique box. With summer just around the corner Urban Decay has done it again and released a new collection inspired by the late artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.
The collection includes eyeshadow palettes, lipsticks, eyeliners, cosmetic bags, and a blush palette. All of the pieces are heavily inspired by the work Basquiat including his informal graffiti art as well as his work speaking out against social injustice.
The colors in this collection are bold and heavily pigmented. They are perfect for makeup lovers that love to go out of the traditional make up lines and explore bold looks. The packaging is different than anything Urban Decay has done in the past with Basquiat’s graffiti art being all over the packaging. This collection is so unique as it really expresses how makeup is becoming an art form.
This collection really brings together the idea of makeup as an art form by showing how when someone does their makeup they are expressing themselves with the colors and looks the create. From the colors to the packaging design this collection is very unique and will be able to inspire makeup lovers everywhere to create their own art with their makeup.
