Gunman Steve Stephens fatally shot Robert Godwin on Sunday.
An Ohio man is still at large after filming himself approaching and fatally shooting an elderly man on Easter Sunday, before uploading it to Facebook.
The gunman was identified as Steve Stephens, 37, who shot and killed 74-year-old Robert Godwin on his way back from visiting his son.
The shooting was a sickening attempt to seek revenge against his ex-girlfriend who he had just recently split up with.
The video shows Stephens filming with his phone in one hand and concealing a gun in the other, getting out of his car before approaching Godwin and fatally shooting him once in the head.
The graphic video, uploaded to his Facebook account was titled “Easter Day Slaughter” and was up for three whole hours before the account was suspended and the video removed. Stephens also posted a video of him explaining his motives for the shooting, saying: “I just snapped man, f**k it.”
Stephens had just recently broken up with his girlfriend of three years, who he named as “Joy Lane” and says the attacks are because of her. In the video he continues to say that he has already killed 13 people and will not stop until either his mother or ex-girlfriend contact him.
Stephens is suspected to be headed to a neighboring state, police departments in Ohio, New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Indiana are on high alert.
