It’s that time of the year again when we all sigh and wish we could go to Coachella.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival brought out only the best of music, style and people. Here is a scope on the 18th edition of the popular California festival.
Per usual, countless celebrities attended Coachella. From a group of 20 Victoria´s Secret Angels to movie starts like Jared Leto, the festival crowd was filled of celebrities. Two of the most anticipated celebrity outfits are Alessandra Ambrosio and Vanessa Hugdens.
Alessandra never disappoints with her ’70´s and ’80´s rock inspired looks.
Vanessa Hudgens is perhaps the queen of the boho hippie look. The actress should be named Coachella Queen at this point.
By far, this was one of the best years for Coachella line-up wise. Departing from it´s traditional alternative and indie style line-up, in 2017 the festival opened the doors to other genre artists. This year is a proof of that willingness to adapt, the headlines were Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga.
Lady Gaga, who took Beyonce´s place after the singer announced her pregnancy, gave Coachella all it deserved. Surprising all her fans, the artist released a new song, The Cure, during her performance. That was Lady Gaga´s first time at Coachella, however, after that performance, it will definitely not be her last time.
Other performances that caught the public eye for their excellency were The Weeknd and Lorde.
The hipster boho style that marks Coachella perpetuated once again. Crochet, feathers and flowery clothes were everywhere to be seen. Transparency was also spotted among the attendees of the festival. Dresses, crop tops and mesh shirts were a uniform. Colorful makeup and glitter were the preferred choices and the hairstyles consisted of intricate braids and beach waves.
