If you find yourself tempted to play the occasional hooky, these ten reasons may help you remember why going to class is so important.
1. If you go to class, you’ll have an excuse to treat yo’ self
“Did I hear ice cream for dinner??” – your (super excited) stomach
But seriously, it can be so hard to get out of bed for that 10am. So incentivize yourself: rather than skipping now, you can nap instead of catching up on missed work later.
2. You’ll feel accomplished
If there’s one thing we college students need, it’s to feel productive, accomplished, and like this whole “adulting” thing might finally be working out.
3. You could meet your soul mate
Then again, you might not. But there’s only one way to find out.
4. You can show off your smarts
Who knows, maybe today is the day your prof finally asks “who can tell me what the powerhouse of the cell is”?
5. Logan Huntzberger might just defend your honor
For all my fellow Gilmore Girls fanatics, this may very well be the class that Logan and his friends interrupt. Or maybe an equally cute boy will strike up a conversation with you; either way should be incentive enough.

6. Easy points
It may not seem like it now, but come the end of the semester you may need all the clicker points you can get: including the 1.2666% you’ll get today.
7. For once, you won’t have to lie to your parents
“Yes mom…. I went to class today. What did I learn you ask? Oh HONEY lemme tell ya”
8. Your roommate won’t think you’re a hermit
Don’t think they don’t talk behind your back.
9. Two birds, one stone
Walking to class doubles as cardio. No gym today, you fit and healthy student-athlete, you!
10. On the way, you might trip and fall…
