Another set of immigration restrictions have surfaced.
With Trump ramping up his restrictions on immigration, his administration has released new plans for immigration restrictions. The administration even after holding many talks with countries like India, has decided to temporarily suspend expedited H1-B visas. H1-B visas as I have mentioned before are high skilled work visas which many people from countries like India and China use to enter industries such as technology and engineering in the US.
The Trump administration has also announced that a new executive order will be issued to replace the executive order halted by federal judges which had previously suspended travel from 7 Muslim majority countries. This attempt to revive the ban followed talks between Trump and his adviser Steve Bannon.
Steve Bannon has been known to hold a radical right wing philosophy which has also strengthened violent radicals in the Middle East, with Al-Qaeda praising him in for helping fuel a West-East societal war in one of their newspapers. We will have to wait and see what sudden policy changes will likely occur this week.
