Michael Jordan made heads turn after claiming the “ceiling is the roof.”
On Saturday, Michael Jordan paid his alma mater a visit to celebrate a new partnership between the University of North Carolina and his Jordan Brand. In celebration, the university had a small ceremony during halftime of Saturday night’s UNC vs Duke men’s basketball game. During the ceremony, Jordan delivered a speech to speak on the partnership and to encourage those attending to live on through community. Although Jordan had good intentions, the speech took an interesting turn near the end when Jordan expressed, “The ceiling is the roof. Let’s make it happen. Let’s keep moving forward.” That’s right, Jordan dropped this little gem of wisdom, which got people to stop and ponder for a second – the ceiling is the roof?

The new Jumpman is expected to debut on-field this year on September 2, 2017 during the University of North Carolina Tar Heels’ home opener against the University of California Golden Bears.
