We had the opportunity to sit in on a rehearsal with the Sedoctave A cappella group this week at Ball State University.
Sophomore Sedoctave member, Akili McDuffy shares her story on how she found a family away from her own. At home, she grew up with a family that was notorious for their musical talent.
We spent time with the A cappella group as they performed their whole show for us. The entirety of the show displays a message of unity. The group addresses racism and other social injustices.
Sedoctave are a very accomplished group here at Ball State and we wanted to help showcase their talent. They will be competing in the ICCA Semi-Finals this Saturday at Indiana University.
