The odds are in Breezy’s favor.
The celebrity boxing match between Chris Brown and Soulja Boy has garnered considerable interest over the past few weeks since Adrien Broner made the initial announcement the two would face off. Since, Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather Jr. have even jumped into the scene, with Tyson training Brown and Mayweather training Soulja Boy.
While public opinion has been the main determination so far who may win the forthcoming fight, it appears the Las Vegas sportsbooks are ready to chime in. Providing some legitimacy to the speculation of who will win, Vegas sportsbooks have created a betting line similar in nature to the speculation around Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor.
“With Iron Mike in his corner and a reputation for getting into scuffles, Breezy is our hot favorite to win this battle of the hip-hop artists,” said Coral spokesperson, Nicola Mcgrady. Coral, a UK bookmaker, favors Breezy on top 1-7 odds of winning. Soulja Boy, on the other hand, is only see 4-1 odds to win.
The same appears to be the case with US bookmaker, Bovada. The company has placed odds in Brown’s favor as well, with a posting at -160, which means to win $100 USD, one would have to bet $160 USD. Conversely, Soulja Boy is is +125, which means you would win $125 USD off a $100 USD bet.
