Kid Cudi breaks through his depression, unveiling a new masterpiece.
Cudi’s new 19 track project is filled with gems, featuring Andre 3000, Willow Smith, Travis Scott, and Pharrell.
As a huge Kid Cudi fan, this album was highly awaited. His many unique beats and vocals accompanied by his smooth lyrics, takes you into a fantasy of Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin’.
This is Kid Cudi’s sixth studio album, providing vibes that remind us of Cudi’s first official release back in 2008, A Kid Named Cudi. He released two singles from this album, “Frequency” and “Surfin” on September 30, 2016.
It is hard to find something that you don’t like in this album. Each song is lit and instantly has you dancing or singing loudly. Some of my favorites on the album are “Distant Fantasies”, “Dance 4 Eternity” and “Mature Nature.”
After Cudi’s long journey with depression and finding himself through his music, I can tell that this album is pointing to a good direction for his state of mind. Especially after the devastating beef he found himself in earlier this year.
This album is definitely one of the best albums of 2016 and I applaud Cudi for this masterpiece that will forever be in my music library.
