GoodMusicAllDay: As Ösiris represents a new path being forged for Stööki Sound, your EP takes on new life through otherworldly influences (ie. Middle eastern string instruments in Endz). What inspired you to break away from the norm and take the leap in that direction?
Stööki Sound: “Got bored of hearing the same thing over and over again, so we decided to be a bit more creative, to set outside of comfort zone and try new sounds we hadn’t been hearing.”

A Double Album Review: ‘FUTURE’ and ‘HNDRXX’
Listen to Yulton & Leah Culver’s New Song, “Ride With You”
GoodMusicAllDay: Jelacee, how has your voice developed through the creation of Ösiris? Have there been any defining moments that changed your perspective on your personal artistic process?
Stööki Sound: (Jelacee) “Yeah, I realized that I can actually spit bars and I’m pretty good at it.”
GoodMusicAllDay: What are a few short-term and long-term goals for Ö.N.E Worldwide? What do you two hope to accomplish through partnerships beyond the label?
Stööki Sound (Jelacee): “We are trying to keep it more family base. Right now it is really a hub for us to do our own thing until we know what we really want to do.”
(DJ Lukey): “We wanted to create a platform for artists with a similar approach of not compromising the music they’re making to and staying true to their sound.”
GoodMusicAllDay: Are there any pre-show traditions or superstitions you two practice/believe in?
Stööki Sound (Jelacee): “Hennessy”
(DJ Lukey): “Nothing really. I have a lucky Stööki chain that I always wear, though.”
GoodMusicAllDay: What are you guys most looking forward to on your fall tour? Anything you’re apprehensive about?
Stööki Sound: “Not apprehensive about anything just more excited to keep going to new places, gaining a new following and keeping meeting new and existing fans.”
If you’re eager to join the Stööki movement, be sure to catch them over the next month or so in your hometown. After rounding up appearances in Dallas, Tulsa, Calgary, and Vancouver, Stööki Sound returns to the west coast. Purchase tickets now!
