The Clarksville, TN rapper is back at it again, and he does not disappoint. Check Out “Love Found (Prod. By Chiefus)”
From Clarksville, Tennessee, Case Arnold delivers his music with a rasp to his voice and dustiness to his production that embodies the endurance that recent years have demanded of him.
A jazzy, piano driven tune, “Love Found” follows the theme of Common’s “I Used to Love H.E.R.” The single is self-produced under Case’s Chiefus alias. “During the time that I made ‘Love Found,’ I had just started making beats and diving into that side of myself – I was studying Dilla, Common, Badu, and The Roots just going through records and catching those vibes,” Case explains. “As soon as the loop started the hook came to me instantly. I wrote the song with the perspective of seeing the person you love for the first time in years after not speaking. The circle that always leads back to you.”
“Love Found” is the first single from Case Arnold’s SO(U)L Theory album, which releases this fall. “I’d say the overall theme to SO(U)L Theory is remaining yourself through the good and the bad,” he says. “So I really dug into what I wanted to say, which was a message perseverance. Dealing with issues in my past with drugs, losing close friends to drugs, and bouncing from place to place really took a toll on me and my spirit. Making it out of that place is what really inspired SO(U)L Theory.”
