Now that you have your outfit prepared it’s time for a little follow-up on last week’s fashion trends. From your shoes to shirt, from your hair to your make-up, everything needs to be on point.
Alright ladies and gents. You didn’t think I would let y’all walk out of the house only half ready did you? Do you really think I’d let you go without your hair and makeup all done up. I just needed to give you a week to get a little situated with your clothing.
Eyeliner On Fleek
So makeup, you know what is REALLY in right now? But also looks really good on most everyone? Wing-tip eyeliner! I KNOW! Everyone thinks its highly over-rated, and yes maybe it is, but it is super easy to do and doesn’t even take that long. If you don’t really want to do the wing-tip eyeliner than try just a very simple and subtle liner. Then pair it with either a more smoky-eye shadow with colors of light brown, yellow, light blue or a very subtle yellow/green.
Now mascara. I always recommend L’Oreal Eyelights mascara because it is some of the best underrated mascara out there. I personally use Blue Eyelights because I have blue eyes and it gives my eyelashes a natural, voluminous look while also containing the streaks of blue to make my eyes pop. The brand also has Eyelights for green and brown eyes, so everyone can enjoy it! If you do choose to buy L’Oreal Eyelights mascara and choose the eye shadow look. It will definitely bring out those eyes that are soooo pretty!
Foundation and Contour On Point
I know everyone has their own specific preference for foundation, but if you have problem skin I would highly recommend two lines. Bare Minerals and Color FX, both lines are actually good for problem skin, when I wear Bare Minerals I don’t break out later, even if I wear it for 12 hours (and I know you all feel me on that because it is a thing) and if you fall asleep in either one you don’t wake up the next day with night zits! Its great!
Effortless Beautiful Hair
Finally lets move on to your hair! Fall always says to me braids. SPECIFICALLY French braids and if you can’t braid that is totally ok because I can’t either. If you know how to twist then you can actually twist your hair. You can still get the look of braids with less than half the time it takes to actually braid hair. That depends on how talented you are at braiding hair. Even the same placements on your head such as the fishtail, the side braid, or the crown braid can all be accomplished by twisting as well. It will really brighten up your look.
Another hair look you can go from is slight waves, almost like beach waves, but not quite. The waves happen half-way down your hair, and they are very subtle, and very natural looking. If you have shorter hair also try waves as well. If you have hair short enough for like a man-bun/bun type look honestly the twisting really is your best bet. I personally have a man-bun and twisting creates a whole new level of style for your hair.
Also, bangs, straight across bangs or a fringe. Surprisingly yes fringes are not just for when you’re having a big transition in your life. Some people ACTUALLY like having them on a daily basis, I know, weird (just kidding!). They also give you a cute look that can be described as strong and fashion forward.
Now I want you to go out there and show them what you got cookin’ good lookin’. Remember, always be fashion forward, not backward, hun wrong way.
