What do you believe?
A streaking light illuminated the sky in southern California, causing residents to take to social media, spreading video and images of the UFO that was seen as far away as Nevada. It seems that every time there’s some sort of UFO sighting, the excuse is always the same—military testing.

The navy claims to have fired an unarmed missile of the SoCal coast, causing a streak of light to careen across the sky, seen as far as Arizona and Nevada. The light looks nothing like any missile I’ve ever seen, based on the many videos of the event. The streak was seen for miles and for a considerable period of time, casting some doubt on the missile excuse.
Witness Matt McKee describes the event as best he can: “At first, it looked like a gold shooting star… It went from gold and small, burning for a few minutes and turned into this blue spot light. Like at an event held at night — not like shooting out at us, but a white bright light. What was weird, the tail was light and wide and it got bluer and bluer. Then it just burned out and went away.”
UFO sightings are amazing to me, even if they have perfectly reasonable explanations. While this incident may have involved a missile and not an alien spacecraft, it’s still fun to wonder. I’m definitely in Fox Mulder’s club—I want to believe.
