The hottest music festival of the summer is coming to Jones Beach, New York, featuring artists from Billboard’s Top 100.
Summer music festivals are endless- Bonaroo, Warped Tour, Lollapolooza, Boston Calling, but for the first time ever, Billboard, in partnership with LiveNation, is bringing more than 40 artists together for an unforgettable two days.
The festival will take place at Jones Beach from August 22 to 23 with three stages and a full line-up.
Announced artists include:
The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Skrillex, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Kygo, Jason Derulo, American Authors, Betty Who, Cold War Kids, Cruisr, The Chainsmokers, The Faint, Fetty Wap, Fight Clvb, Halsey, Holy Ghost!, Ilovemakonnen, Justin Baron, Kiesza, Lights, Lindsey Sterling, Little Mix, Main Attrokionz, The Maine, Markam, Matoma, Michael Brun, Michael Woods, Misterwives, MKTO, Natalie La Rose, New Politics, Party Thieves, Ryn Weaver, Santigold, X Ambassadors, and more.
This set up is really interesting because it’s a weird mixture of rap, indie, dubstep, and a little rock. I’m not sure what to expect, but I’m sure it’ll be one hell of a show. Not to mention, Jones Beach is a beautiful place, and filled with concert junkies, the energy will be explosive.
Billboard President commented on the festival:
“With this first-of-its-kind festival on the beach just outside New York City, Billboard is officially expanding its live event footprint,” said Billboard president John Amato. “The iconic Jones Beach will be fully transformed into a true festival experience with multiple stages and a festival village.”
